The Police Did Not Abduct Them!!

Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie, alias KJ

With tempers running high on the current state of abductions in the country. Lawmakers aligned to the government have come out gun blazing in defense to the government stating that some abductions are stage managed to cause an uproar in the media space. Speaking, Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie, alias KJ, said that the accusations against the National Police Service (NPS) were unwarranted.

“Yes, some cases are pointing a finger at the police. In the same breath, some people have been reported and sensationalized online for a weekend only to turn out that they had travelled to a different county to see their boyfriend or girlfriend. There’s a lady who disappeared for a weekend and it turned out she had gone to see a boyfriend in a different city where they lived,” KJ stated.

Upon being asked to provide relevant examples, the legislator flopped and was reluctant to elaborate more on his statement.
This comes, as Kenya has increasingly turned into a hotspot for abductions, sparking concerns among State critics about the security of both locals and foreigners.
With the State denying any involvement in the kidnappings, concerns have been raised about the safety of Kenyans and foreigners, particularly those who are outspoken critics of their governments.
